First Choir Rehearsal

I took my first ever choir rehearsal today - hooray! The 7:15am start was rather unpleasant (I left here around 6am) but hopefully I will manage to find a place soon enabling me to have a quicker run to work and, more importantly, sleep!

It may take me a while to get used to the pacing I think. We seemed to get through quite a lot of music today, and I'm worried that by next week they will have forgotten it all, as we learnt it by rote. There was an entire year level missing too, so they'll have to pick it up quickly next week :)

They are making a good sound though, which is exciting considering there were so many missing from the rehearsal. I'm looking forward to hearing what the complete group sounds like as there will be over 60 students involved. Yay for choirs, yay for singing! Not so much yay for 7:15 starts, but I can deal.
